Sweden meets Latvia. In the Grand Poet Hotel Riga these leads to a wonderful cosmopolitan result. The five story house with its 168 superior rooms and 20 ultra luxurious suites is located is the historic center of Latvia’s capitol. The interior concept in the former location of the interior ministry does not only celebrate the contrast of cultures but also that of generations. Swedish architects Stylt Trampoli teamed up with the local planners Sarma & Norde contrasted the squiggly shapes of the past with the puristic shapes of today, such as with straight outlets LS990 by JUNG. The result: a fun modern eclectic mix.
