The concept of these two different dining rooms, puzzled out by Eneko Atxa, sparks curiosity.
The casual Basque serves unpretentious Basque cuisine, the stylish Eneko Lisboa fine degustation menus that were awarded by the Guide Michelin in 2021.
The room breathes history. In 1989, architect António Pinto turned a 600 year old print shop into the Alcântara Café, 30 years later, it required a more subtle intervention.
Some heavy curtains were added as well as a glass and iron separator. The original architecture of the café was kept though.
The Basque follows the concept of a typical Basque tavern.
