Dóttir, a fine dining restaurant run by women with a focus on vegetarian cuisine, is located on the first floor of the Château Royal hotel in Berlin, in an exciting combination of landmarked buildings and a new building designed by David Chipperfield.
Meat and fish tend to complement the menu, depending on regional availability. The division of the restaurant into three interconnected, sophisticated dining rooms creates atmosphere. A central element is the bar, whose surface is made of pewter – a rarity these days.
The art exhibited in the building by Julius von Bismarck, Anne Imhof, Judith Hopf, Cyprien Gaillard, Rosemarie Trockel, Cosima von Bonin and others was curated by designer Kirsten Landwehr
