It was once an unsightly office building from the 1970s – until architects Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel converted it into the seventh luxury hotel of the Italian luxury group Bulgari.
Their principle for hotel openings: “We treat each one like the launch of a new collection of jewels.” It shows. Marble, tapestries and lacquered eucalyptus wood, lots of art, a spa reminiscent of Roman baths.
And those who find the 76 rooms not comfortable enough can rent the penthouse: 1,000 square meters on two floors, plus a roof terrace with a view of the Eiffel Tower.
The marble is the same that the Medici preferred
