After the successful launch of the Buxbaum, gastronome Benjamin Buxbaum opened his second restaurant, the Boxwood, only a few steps away.

It serves Austrian cuisine and the atmosphere is a bit rustic. A wine barrel in the middle of the room serves as storage, the comfy deep blue sofa next to the bar lets new guests take a breath or entices other to have another drink after their dinner.

The material mix of wood, urban metro tiles and glass in muted shades is pleasantly unpretentious. Oversized lamps provide for pleasant light and are also eye-catchers.

The oak vintage tabletops were especially made for the restaurant. They are massive and 4 cm thick.
