Gastronome Horst Scheuer left the hip Karmeliter district.  Instead, he went to Währing, where he revived the Bürgerhof and opened the restaurant Berger & Lohn.

While the furniture is unpretentious and timeless, one cannot get enough from the newly designed interior that was created with befriended artists. Tobias Pils is responsible for the tiles on the bar, Roman Spieß for the light objects in the restaurant area.

The art of orange, blue and red glass comes from a former German indoor pool from the 60s and now decorates the walls as spectacularly lit wall covering.

Don’t miss: The stunning marble restrooms in the basement were designed by Claudia Cavallar and Lukas Lederer
