Much more than an annex as the name suggests: The Hotel The Annex is a project that moderates between the industrial past of the location and a contemporary aesthetic – and lets new things arise.
With a minimalist approach to the interior and the necessary respect for the historic facade, StudioAC created a unique boutique hotel.
The interior is light and reduced, close to the simplicity of Japanese interior design, yet more generous regarding the room’s dimensions. The rooms are airy and large windows offer a perfect view of urban life.
The interior elements of the rooms were mainly made of ply wood – a rather cost-efficient solution for the country rich in wood that also gives the rooms a unique identity
