Strange location with an expiration date: The Baut likes to travel. After a former gas distribution station, a garage and an abandoned office building, the pop-up restaurant Baut set up camp in a former chapel in the Spaarndammerstraat in 2018.
The spirituality of the building, says the Baut’s owner, Michiel van der Eerde, should be experienced by the guests when they come to eat, to drink or to enjoy music and other cultural offers. The atmosphere has been chosen consciously as an eclectic mix between Barcelona and Paris and focuses on cozy vintage pieces.
Every week important art exhibits take place on the first floor of the Baut.
