Michael Ajax of Butler Interiör wanted to create an exclusive yet relaxed setting in the Artilleriet restaurant – and with that bring a modern ambience on a common denominator with a 16th Century building. The room is dominated by warm colors: deep blue on walls and benches radiates a calming effect in the mix with bright white and warm brown and grey shades. The generous bar as well as selected tables were created in dark marble and the almost obligatory Scandinavian wood is used for the other tables as well as all chairs.  The cozy material mix is balanced with textiles and leather. Some brass accents give the room a metallic shine.

Those who want to take a walk after dinner can stroll through Stockholm’s Heeresmuseum in which the Artilleriet is located
