The Bikini Haus from the 50s and the entire block of the former Zentrum am Zoo were re-opened spring 2014 after 39 months of extensive renovation by the Bayerische Hausbau. The new Bikini Berlin is a shopping and experience world. The Bikini Haus features a concept mall with choice shops and gastronomy. The spectacular greened terrace offers a view of Berlin’s zoo. Below it, you can find a large hall with a large event space and changing pop-up stores that are rented out for limited time periods.

The house got its nick-name Bikini Haus in the 50s. Formelly the house was divided into two parts by the column-surrounded top floor. Back then, it reminded inhabitants of the new 2-pieced bathing suits.
