In the heart of the rising neighborhood Porta Volta, the Hotel Viu Milan achieves an intriguing split: with its progressive architectural concept, it opens itself to the Zeitgeist of today’s city life, yet celebrates Milan’s classic aesthetics with its fine interiors.
On the outside, the hyper-modern building built of sustainable wood, metal, bronzed glass and vertical greening looks like a new generation of sustainable architectural ambitions. The inside is classy Italian.
Designer Nicola Gallizia along with local Arassociati architects and Molteni&Cs Contract Division dipped the interior of the five-star hotel in muted colors and calm shapes. Dark oak floors are in harmony with light fabrics and custom-made furniture as well as classics by Milan’s Maestro Gio Ponti.
