The building from the 30s has seen other times. When Tarruella Trenchs Studio started the renovations for the Bistro Al Tun Tun, they were faced with an oli-spilled garage. The designers were inspired by classic 19th century French bistros and spiked that up with contemporary design. The open kitchen is the central stage of the dining area. This provides the chefs with daylight and lets the kitchen communicate with the outside world.
The high ceilings allow for an intermediate floor level.
