In Ljubljana, Zvezda is a synonym for everything sweet. Four cafés as well as a deli shop assure that. Now the oldest Nun Zvezda Café moved into a room that pastry queen Urška Šefman Sojer already renovated in 2012 together with architect Mladen Trepoo.
The update encompasses a grand interior, dark green velvet benches and mirrors with gold frames. Stucco and sparkling chandeliers remind of the time-honored tradition of European cafés.
The location on the Zvevda park is reflected in greenish wallpapers. The pictured nature can be heard on the large terrace, where guests can enjoy the calming view onto mighty plane trees along with coffee and cake.
The kitchen and entire service were moved to the area of the main cafés. Only the cakes are on display so that guests can enjoy their sweet break without any further distractions.
