In 2009, the Dutch Hans Meyer had a momentous vision: hotels should no longer be just rooms with a double bed and room service, but places in which digital nomads can live and work for some weeks.

The outcome of these thoughts is Zoku, a company found in 2016 in Amsterdam that by now is serving an extremely mobile clientele in three European cities.  It is more pleasant to stay and work effectively in the Zoku lofts than in conventional business rooms (because they are comfy mini flats)– like home offices for travelers.

The renowned design agency Concrete was commissioned with the interior design. They managed to install stunning and beautiful work-life hybrids on 25 square meters.

Besides the lofts, Copenhagen’s Zoku features a rooftop restaurant, meeting rooms with presentation equipment and even a gaming room in which guests can play “Super Mario”.
