Zagreb is known to be inland, but this fish restaurant brings the characteristic Dalmatian atmosphere and the special lifestyle of sea and karstic island romance to the Croatian capital.

This has a lot to do with the nuances of the design: for example, the blue of the walls evokes the metallic glow of the night sky over the sea, and the color of the sun here is not yellow, but includes strong copper and orange tones – reminiscent of a morning on Dalmatia’s coast.

The floor is covered with large gray tiles, reminiscent of stones. The bar counter and benches are covered with tiles in the shape of fish scales. And the hanging wire lamps? Symbolize fish nets or jellyfish diving down into the sea.

The black fish on the walls are made by Zagreb painter Natalija Klarica
