Luca Nichetto was inspired by the first page of an empty notebook for the concept of Beijing’s Zaozou showroom. The page stands for endless opportunities and an undefined future. The Venetian designer wanted to create the feeling of yearning and uncertainty, which reflects the current tension of the Chinese design culture.
Zaozuo is one of the young and dynamic players of this scene and he rewarded himself with the experienced and celebrated designer as creative director. So it is not surprising that the featured products remind of European design culture. The white walls and the squared frames symbolize the empty or checked notebook pages – and the colorful furniture and accessories play the role of first notes in the book.
The store is located in the Indigo Shopping Center where you can find several floors of shops but also a hotel, a cinema, a winter garden and a park.
