As the first local hotel, the Wud follows modern sustainability principles via a pre-build wooden construction. Wood is also the most marking attribute of the hotel interior.

Nico Less’ chairs of recycled materials perfectly fit the interior. Further environmentally friendly materials that can be found here are stationery, toilet paper or tissues.

Energy-saving LED light bulbs are a given. 25 hotel rooms with a size between 25 and 40 square meters are spread across three floors in the Hotel Wud.

Guests can chose between rooms with a few of the green or the city. There are also larger family apartments and every room has its own balcony or Zen garden. A different inspiration: a special room with pole dace theme.

Photos of the famous Slovenian costume designer Alan Hranitelj can be found in every room.
