Today’s concept in the historic Ochrana building of Russia’s secret service is fine dining according to Italian tradition. Four connected areas with different functions are graded via colors: From one end of the restaurant to the other, the rooms become darker and more cozy. Ceramic tiles and light wood dominate the part around the deli bar, where light meals and coffee are served. In the adjacent center piece, the Neapolitan pizza oven dominates the main area for social meals for lunch or dinner. Next to it, the bar wrapping around the corner invites to an aperitif. In the darkest and most intimate room, dark blue shades, brown leather and oak wood create the private character. Classic materials such as marble and terrazzo decorate the floors.
