Located in an Edwardian mansion, The Twenty Two Hotel juxtaposes classic design with distinctively rich colors. The 31 rooms and suites comprise seven different categories, all with individual design.
Owner Navid Mirtorabi was the driving force behind the creative vision. Together with Natalia Miyar, for whom it was the first hotel project, he reinterpreted classic 18th century French design by adding small details such as golden fringes and velvet piping to complement large statements such as beveled mirrors.
The Classic and Superior rooms feature a rich blue color theme with indigo and blue-green undertones. Deep reds paired with black cabinetry and furniture emphasize the glamorous Parisian style of days gone by in each bedroom.
Majestic silks by Turnell & Gigon, sparkling vintage chandeliers and elaborate window drapes complete the ambience. The lobby boasts a black and cream cabochon marble floor reflected from the mirrored ceiling and antique intaglios fixed to the walls with crimson velvet.
The exquisitely furnished restaurant at Twenty Two is the setting for an artist-in-residence program
