HOTEL
Athens

The hotel The Editor is located in the heart of Athens and mirrors the soul of the place in which contemporary history was written and printed. After this is where once the famous printing firm Athlitiki Ixo could be found.

That is exactly what the use of black steel, a typical material of the commercial past of the historic city center, refers to. The fragmented use of materials such as marble and mosaic referring to the heritage of the ancient world is just as charming.

The rhythmically composed wooden surfaces that are supposed to remind of the gaps between words in printed matter are more striking. The heart of the hotel complex is the atrium that can be reached via arcade from the reception area and that all the 40 rooms are grouped around.

The terrace of the restaurant offers a view of the Akropolis. This panoramic view can also be enjoyed by day guests.
