Terraza Timberland

vitalized. open. hidden. covered.
Café Restaurant
Mexico City

Not easy to find but well worth it: this hidden place offers a fascinating view of the Plaza de la Republic and the Monumento a la Revolución.

With materials such as wood and metal as well a zinc plated roof, a concept was implemented that functions as restaurant and in the late night hours also as bar and club.

With this project, the architects were faced with a special challenge as originally the building did not have a flat roof. They had to find a steel structure solution for it.

The Terraza Timberland is considered one of the most successful examples of the new use of unused space.
