This construction is a temporary solution for sellers of the Östermalm market hall dated 1888 that is being reconstructed. Behind a lively facade, the architecture studio Tengbom combines space for retailers and shops along with rooms for social activities.
Simple materials are preferred: You find construction frames with pine paneling and back-lid polycarbonate boards. Some sales booths will be transferred to the new Saluhall later. The frame of the construction can also be reused.
The architecture studio Tengbom is also responsible for the complete renovation of the Östermalm Saluhall.
