The castle is internationally known as the set for ‘The Sound of Music’ and has been reopened as a hotel. The main castle kept its baroque character. TFally Plus Partner architects turned the Meierhof into a contemporary, colorful boutique hotel with 55 rooms, a café and two townhouses.
The architects integrated some historic references into the interior. The bead heads for example were made of the castle’s blinds.
