Wake up to the view of New York’s skyline – which visitor of the Big Apple would not want that? As one of the highest hotel in Manhattan’s Chelsea district, the Renaissance New York Chelsea does not leave these wishes unfulfilled.

The hotel is located on the premises of the former flea market “Antiques Garage”. And the location as well as the many flower and antique shops in the area inspired the interior designers to an exciting design concept: You can find originL, playful elements such as leather tiles made of old belts, wall lamps made of preserving jars, dried moss in old gold frames, rabbit-shaped wall hooks, mirrors endowed with wild flowers or antique garden lanterns.

Many strange pieces of art can also be admired such as the over two levels high installation of old knobs, locks and keays made by local artist Laura Morrison. Speaking of admiration: one of the true highlights of the hotel is the highest rooftop pool of the city that offers exclusive swimming joy with a grand panoramic view.

“This house is truly unique. Every detail in this hotel has a reference to the artsy and eclectic character of Chelsea.”Dieses Haus ist wirklich einzigartig. Jedes Detail in diesem Hotel verfügt über einen Bezug zum künstlerischen und eklektischen Charakter von Chelsea.“ (General Manager)
