The Speakeasy Bar Red Frog was opened in May 2015 and is a craft cocktail bar that refers to New York in the prohibition of the 1920s. Besides the classic and craft cocktails in a jazzy vintage atmosphere, there is also heavy tobacco fragrance.
The bar was awarded as best Portuguese bar many times and is among the 50 best bars in the world. By now, the Red Frog jumped on and became part of Monkey Mash restaurant, that features a totally different focus since March 2019.
More modern, tropical and colorful, this restaurant wants to bring warmth and South-American temperament to Lisbon. Both bars are creations of the owners Emanuel Minez and Paulo Gomes.
The walls of the Monkey Mash were created by the local artists Aka Corleone and Filipe Carvalho Ribeiro.
