What a great luxury: The Popl on the famous Strandgade serves burgers and nothing but burgers, with cheese, vegetarian or vegan accompanied with fries and coleslaw.

But this burger comes from René Redzepi, Noma owner, legendary and almost flooded with Michelin stars innovator of the Nordic Cuisine. His burger place makes no compromises: the meat comes from three organic farms, in which the cows graze happily. All other ingredients are also regional, the vegan choice consists of cooked and fermented quinoa injected with Tempeh spores.

For the design of the former storage space, Spacon & X combined concrete pillars and raw brick with poppy red, moss green and soft yellow; the archaic-looking wooden chairs were custom made by Frankfurt’s brand e15.

The design concept reminds of Japanese bars, so called Izakayas.
