Once this 1922 building, in which the brasserie and bar of the Auckland Zoo is located, hosted elephants. Today everything is different.
The new interior of the Old Elephant House focuses on timeless aesthetics with smooth, oscillating walls that are painted in a clear and clean white and capture Auckland’s sun rays.
The high ceilings assure a free ambience. Because of that the open patio is the ideal place to take a small break from animal watching and enjoy the fresh breeze.
Upon request, the room can be rented for private functions from 5.30 pm to midnight
