An empty storage room in the Marvila district was turned into the Musa brewery that consists of a bar, technical areas and the brewery.
The ‘threat’ by an announced real estate project lead the owners to follow a defensive design strategy. Only minimal interventions were possible.
The bar balances the basics of brewery fundamentals and focuses on details without ignoring the big picture.
The service area was placed in a new ensemble of painted concrete blocks and raw concrete that is located in the pass between factory and bar.
