The Mori Mori has little to do with a conventional sushi restaurant. The menu is a unique fusion of Polish, European and Japanese cuisine.

The special combination of different cultural influences also served Maciej Ryniewicz and Rafał Kaletowski of Akurat Studio as inspiration for their daring eclectic design concept.

The floors with black and white tiles originally engage with mid-century chairs, mother-of-pearl mosaics, rice paper lamps and walnuts wood panelling.

What possibly sounds like a chaotic design plan, comes together as a harmonious whole.

The neon sign, visible for passers by, was designed by Jacek Hanak, student of the Polish School for Neon Signs. The establishment of Warsaw’s Neon Muzeum was also his initiative.
