Singapore has a problem. The city state is tiny, yet its space requirements are huge.  Architects solve this dilemma by building skyscrapers. And the hotel scene also gets creative when it comes to enabling a feeling of circuitousness.

The Hotel M Social, designed by Philippe Starck provides high ceilings in its 293 rooms – from The Nice Room to the The Nicer Room and The Big Room. To accommodate the name The Bigger Room, these room are not immensely large but – due to a second level – very high.

And what does design super star Starck say about his project? “M Social is the new bustling place in Singapore, where elegance meets creativity and technology and where our smart, global population will have a unique experience. ”  He provides the targeted Millennials a ‘democratic design’ with many public areas with flexible use.

Special Tips

What a treat: every room is equipped with a smart phone for guest use – including unlimited data volume, a city guide and free national as well as international calls.
