The Kokkedal Castle was built in 1746 by architect Johann Gottfried. 2013 it was turned into a luxury hotel – and features a luxurious spa that works in co-operation with Australian cosmetic brand Sodashi. Guests can enjoy spa treatments and the scenic forest and park surroundings 30 minutes outside of the city center. Interior designer Cath Alexandrine Danneskiold-Samsøe created a relaxing atmosphere with natural materials, cozy pieces by Piet Boon and ‘Sensory Sky’ rain showers by Dornbracht.
Special Tips
The Kokkedal’s architect also built the rococo town house Odd Fellows Mansion.
