Koenigshof, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Munich, the brand’s first hotel in Germany, has opened in a prime location directly on Munich’s Karlsplatz. It comprises 106 rooms and suites, including a 250 square meter presidential suite with private sauna and pool, and a spectacular rooftop terrace with views of the city and the Bavarian Alps.

On arrival, guests are greeted by a spacious atrium that embodies the hotel’s “Stachus Serenity” design concept, reflecting individuality and local ties. The architectural approach is to open up the façade towards Stachus and create a connection between the interior and exterior of the hotel. An urban retreat with slatted structures and gold-colored walls.

There are many culinary options open to guests: The rooftop restaurant Greta Oto surprises with Latin American cuisine; “The Gold” lounge is a calm, homely space to relax with a curated selection of books and artworks that reflect Munich’s spirit; and “The Green” lounge serves specially created delicacies such as Koenigshof tea or Koenigshoftorte – a tribute to the world-famous Bavarian Prinzregententorte.

Those interested can immerse themselves in genuine Munich hospitality on city tours and culinary tours to the Viktualienmarkt, where they can sample typical Bavarian delicacies together with the concierge.
