Chef Damian D’Silva is something like Singapore’s keepers of traditional recipes. The menu reveals traditional cooking methods, recipes and ingredients.

It is located in the lobby of the private club Straits Clan that is located in a 1920s landmark building and was redesigned by the duo Takenouchi Webb.

The atmosphere combines historic design elements with a palette of green tiles, wood-paneled columns and lush green.

Further, brass, wood, marble, leather dominate. Another specialty are the Indonesian floor tiles that have been produced with wax technique.
