Janu is Sanskrit and means “soul”. The eponymous hotel builds on the heritage of its sibling brand, Aman, while forging its own path with an innovative and inspiring vision. Janu exudes an uplifting spirit and playful design that contrasts with the calm and soothing Zen for which Aman is known.
In the heart of the dynamic new Azabudai Hills neighborhood, Janu Tokyo enriches its guests and the local community through the joy of human interaction. Janu Tokyo offers 122 guest rooms and suites, eight dining venues and a 4,000 square meter spa and wellness center in a building designed by Pelli Clarke & Partners.
The rooms and suites are spread over eight floors and redefine contemporary elegance. The design focuses on Japanese minimalism and symmetry, creating space and harmony in the midst of the energetic city. European accents add a touch of opulence and grandeur.
Most suites have a private balcony. From there you can admire the city skyline, while the Corner and Tower View Suites offer views in two directions through magnificent windows.
With 284 square meters of living space, the Janu Suite is the hotel’s largest individual suite
