There are keys with numbers behind the counter – but you cannot check in. Beside it, you will find seats and sofas – but it is not a lobby. On the luggage cart you see suitcases – but it is not from the concierge.
What looks like a hotel lobby is actually a concept store for furniture and living accessories in the heart of Berlin. The chandelier was made by the Turkish label Autoban, the vase on the ‘check-in’ counter is by Kartell from Italy and the ‘luggage cart’ features sale pieces.
Hotel ULTRA’s guests are not people but selected products of international designers and brands from all over the world. They all find a temporary home in this lovely store.
