HOTEL Restaurant
Prague

Czech designer Lucie Koldova is the mastermind behind the beautiful Hotel Perk in Šumperk, around 200 kilometers from Prague. Her interplay of harmonious colors, shapes and materials can be felt throughout the hotel. It all starts in the foyer: the open, gallery-like space is designed to lead visitors to relaxation and inspiration. Sunlight streams through large windows and illuminates the area with natural light. Lightly tinted upholstered furniture is shaped into soft islands. A composition of hanging metal lights illuminates the large table in the restaurant below through an opening in the floor. What a spectacle!

The restaurant itself is decorated in darker tones and creates an inviting atmosphere for visitors and hotel guests alike. The space is divided into different zones: a café, a central dining area and a more intimate rear area. A muted, chic color palette dominates. Materials such as metal, wood and soft ropes break up the concrete structure, while eye-catching vertical and horizontal lighting fixtures add atmosphere.

For the rooms, the designer carefully chose shades such as brick, nougat, olive and gray-blue to support the different room sizes. The furniture by local company Master & Master and the striking lighting by Muller van Severen provide personal and fresh details.

The original central staircase was covered with gray-pink plaster and decorated with spherical lamps made of opal and tinted glass.
