At the end of 2018 in the famous Palais de Chaillot at the Place de Trocadéro: Young French star architect Joseph Dirand wraps up his work on the modern Brasserie Girafe – and the city is in awe.
Surrounded by gentle creme shades and illuminated by atmospheric light, guests dine in the iconic arm-rest chairs designed by Warren Platner for Knoll. The buffet features opulent marble combined with geometric decor.
Matching the 1937 building, Dirand re-interprets the style of the French coffee culture of this time and calls the restaurant’s dining room a jewelry case.
Special Tips
The best way to enjoy the decadent atmosphere of the fish restaurant is by indulging a dozen Normandy oysters.
