The bar is part of the restaurant Le Petit Royal Frankfurt that opened in 2019. Bar chef Michael Nagy and his team experiment with techniques and taste elements of both the French and Japanese culture: “For example, the Japanese Sidecar introduces Yuzushu to the traditional French cocktail – an ideal mix of fragrant citrus fruits and Umami”, says Michael Nagy.
The same applies to the meals for which Le-Petit-Royal-kitchen chef Udo Grigas combines French Bistro classics such as oysters and beef tartare with ingredients such as Sake and home-made Shichimi-Paste. And, just as in the restaurant, this all takes place in a very stylish ambience between premium materials and contemporary art.
