Joaquim José Cortiço can be considered a luminary of Portuguese ceramic design. In 1979 he started to purchase and sell tile collections that were no longer produced. Within three decades, he managed to collect a ceramic treasure that tile lovers can now admire. His grandsons are now continuing his work. With a limited budget they managed an efficient presentation of these special tiles via simply high wooden shelves.
Besides rare tiles in limited editions, they also offer upcycling products made from tiles: tables, trays etc.
