Ten years after its founding in 2008, the Citizen M hotel chain opened its second hotel in New York City. The newest location is in the highest building of the neighborhood but is also impressive in the inside. Amsterdam’s architectural studio Concrete leads guests over a striking spiral staircase to the communal living room in the ground floor.
The rooms prove Citizen M’s company theme of affordable luxury: blinds, TV with on-demand movies as well as streaming options as well as ambient lighting are controlled via an iPad. On top of that, guests can enjoy power showers, extra large beds and super fast internet.
