When you enter the Chanca restaurant – part of the Coya nightclub – scenes from “Indiana Jones” and Inca treasures stored underground may come to mind.
Above all, however, the designers from the First Within studio created a space with warm colors and materials that are appealing to the touch. The lighting also plays a decisive role in this project: floating and discreetly illuminated rectangular panels dim the proportions of the high ceiling, and a collection of small illuminated cubes at the bar provides additional intimacy.
The view of the floor is also exciting. Here, the irregular composition of monumental slabs is reminiscent of the archaic Inca architecture of the Andes.
