The Blueness is located in an impressive 17th Century Renaissance building and combines the building’s classic magnificence with a modern Scandinavian design aesthetic. The Danish design studio Space Copenhagen, which created an impressive and slightly dreamy atmosphere with subtle colors, shimmering candle light and natural materials, was responsible for the interior.

“The design process was driven by the fragmented history of the building”, says Signe Bindslev Henriksen of Space Copenhagen. And co-founder Peter Bundgaard Rützou adds: “The design celebrates a sensorial atmosphere that invites guests to a delicious and playful trip accelerated by surprise and expectation.”
