Milan’s museum features a very special collection: over 350 objects that have been awarded with the prestigious design prize Compasso d’Oro award since its founding in 1954 are constantly on display.
A former electric power station in an old industrial area was chosen for the ambitious project and then thoroughly renovated. A ramshackle building that was turned from a part of Milan’s historic industrial culture into a stunning center of Italian design culture.
