The name COR is Latin and means heart – and the heart of the company founded in 1954 and still owner lead belongs to one thing: the careful manufacture of first-class furniture. Especially the passionate production of premium seating furniture is the focus the site in Rheda-Wiedenbrück.
Traditional craftsmanship has a high meaning for the company: The premium brand sees itself as a manufacture that works with the best materials and the highest production standards. The result is simply good furniture that is long-lasting, highly comfortable and timelessly beautiful.
Speaking of beautiful: before carpenters, upholsterers and seamstresses start their work, designers do their creative work in the design studio. And regarding that, the company has collaborated with great names such as F. W. Möller, Peter Maly, Luigi Colani, Jehs & Laub or Jörg Boner.
Design and craftsmanship melt into pieces that are also regularly seen as favorites by independent juries. An expression of this are highly regarded design prizes, among them the Interior Innovation Award, the Red Dot Design Award and the Design Prize of the Federal Republic of Germany.
