“Guests are likely offered the best view of the Alster here”, explains General Manager Anton Birnbaum about the rooftop bar in the annex of Hamburg’s hotel Le Méridien. Just as for the Heritage restaurant on the ninth floor, the design concept of the bar was also developed by interior designer Florian Kienast from Lüneburg’s Büro Formwænde – and continues the design language of the chic restaurant with dark, heavy materials as well as the reduction to the essential. The huge panoramic windows, which invite the Alster as an omnipresent guest of the bar, are an absolute highlight.
