British fashion critic Suzy Menkes is known for her funky hair style – and for her pointed comments. Berlin’s fashion designer Michael Sontag was lucky.
She raved how ‘hopeful’ he is. A stunning accolade that you can check out in his first own store.
The facade with its large glass front and minimalistic logo attracts passers by. On the inside, you find the simple dresses, coats, trousers and shirts that distinguish Sontag ordered by the season’s colors.
The mix of raw walls, unrestored stucco and antique wooden furniture are by StudioCE and Sönke Martensen.
Special Tips
On Thursdays, the store is opened until 8 pm. Afterwards, the “Street Food Thursday” in the Markthalle 9 in the neighborhood is worth a visit.
