Built in 1870 master builder A. P. Nilsson, the well maintained Art Nouveau building had to go through year-long reconstructions before it found its new purpose as a boutique hotel with modern townhouse feeling in 2020. While architect Per Öberg handled the building part of the project, Anna Cappelen took care of the interior.
The co-owner of the villa remembered her travels throughout Europe and integrated her impressions into a calm but never boring mix of Scandinavian design and international furniture classics. The boutique hotel encompasses 70 individual rooms and suites, restaurant, spa, fitness center and conference facilities.
Especially worth seeing: The Villa Dagmar does not also host a concept store but also a hotel-run flower shop
