Besides the renovation of the guest rooms and bathrooms, the elaborate re-design of the hotel encompasses culinary area, the lobby, the ballroom, the conference rooms and the kitchen since 2017.
Irina und Olga Sundukovy were inspired both by Bauhaus elements as well as the neighboring zoo. Oversized ceiling installations and light elements stretch across the lobby and radiate an edgy flair.
The new hotel bar is adorned by a huge zebra that was custom made by the German light object specialized Missal. Together with the renowned French designer Mathieu Lehanneur, the new creative area “Business Playground” was developed.
The 18 x 10 meter large pool is the largest hotel pool in Berlin.
