Almost 20 years ago, Gildas Loaëc – Daft Punk’s former artistic director – and Masaya Kuroki founded Maison Kitsuné. Since then, the former music label turned into a multi-disciplinary company that offers fashion and cafés and delights fans all over the world.

The Café Kitsuné in the Rue du Vertbois is already the fourth in Paris and the second with its own roasting facility. The design of the hotspot in the Marais is multi-cultural: the bar is classic Italian of brushed stainless steel, the raw stone walls and oak panels a design nod towards Japan, cognac colored stools round up the ensemble.

Those who cannot get enough of the first class coffee, can visit a workshop and learn not only everything about proper roasting but also about preparing the perfect Matcha Latte.
