Those interested in architecture, design, technology and art should travel to Madrid. In June 2017, architect and holder of the Pritzker Award Norman Foster opened the Norman Foster Foundation, a foundation for architecture and interdisciplinary thinking.
In the interior of the PAVILION, a new building designed by Norman Foster as an extension of the the historic palace, the foundation offers events and exhibits that provide visitors a holistic perspective on architecture.
The almost transparent PAVILION could be an exhibition object itself: The glass facade designed by Norman Foster Design Studio and realized by building cover experts Frener & Reifer illustrates the collaboration between architecture, design, technology and art.
